思路一


手机会造成很严重的拖延症,所以大家在做正事的时候可以试着把手机放到一边,或者调至飞行模式,不被打搅,在这里可以讲一下自己对手机那种又爱又恨又欲罢不能的感情。


重点表达点拨

拖延症:procrastinate


手机放到一边: put away

飞行模式: flight mode

又爱又恨: have a love and hate relationship / struggle with sth

思路二


给自己完成任务时一个小的奖励作为鼓励,举例就可以说自己平时喜欢吃甜食,所以在每次完成按时完成任务后,会给自己一块巧克力作为奖励,细节可以用喜欢的不同巧克力口味来展开充实答案。

奖励: treat


喜欢吃甜食: I have sweet tooth

薄荷巧克力: mint chocolate

思路三


在工作或者学习时,听一些音乐,尤其是不带歌词的轻音乐作为背景,因为可以让人更加专注,不易分心,思路也可以具体到自己喜欢的音乐类型或者音乐家等。

Nowadays, because of the wide spread of cellphones, many students have a love and hate relationship with their cellphones, because using it is a double-edge sword. On the one hand , students can use cellphone to look for information and look up English words through online dictionary. However, if they get addicted to cellphone, they may find it’s very hard to focus and concentrate on their study, because they would spend too much time on playing video games or socializing with their friends on social apps, such as QQ and wechat, it would jeopardize their future. So the thing I do to help me study or work is just simply putting my phone away, turning my phone to silent mode, or simply turning it into the flight mode, it turned out to be useful and effective for me. I appreciate it very much. Firstly, I get to save lots of time for my reading and revising the stuff I learned during the school day. Secondly, my learning efficiency has been greatly enhanced, no buzz from the wechat or ring bells from the class. And thirdly, putting the phone away simply can make my mind and eyes feel very comfortable. I can rest my eyes while having an inner conversation with myself. So that’s really good for my health. That’s why I found this method is really useful for me.
